Every aspect of clinical performance has been considered in creating Aquilion PRIME. As a result, we improved patient comfort and clinical access, reduced need for radiation exposure and contrast media, boosted productivity while providing a new standard platform for treating a broader patient population with a wider range of applications.
- Information Monitor iStation
iStation displays multilingual texts and movies to guide your patients in a convenient way through the different scan procedures. For children, there are colorful cartoons available showing what they have to do.
During cardiac scanning, the ECG trace is displayed for operator convenience and workflow enhancement.
- Large Bore Gantry With Tech Assist Lateral Slide
The Aquilion Prime gantry has a 780mm aperture, the largest available in a high-end CT system, ensuring greater patient comfort. The unique patient couch, which is accurate even with a load of 300kg, is the only couch on the market with the technology-assisted couch top lateral sliding feature. Patient positioning has never been easier.
Innovative redesigning of Aquilion PRIME reduced the required installation area to just 14.8m2 giving you more space to work in. This high-end multislice CT system has been made compact enough to meet even the most restrictive siting requirements.
- Easy Access And Long Scan Range
The patient couch can be lowered to 33cm above the floor. The couch can be positioned flexibly, allowing easy access for pediatric, elderly, and emergency patients.
In addition, the couch top width has been increased to 47cm to minimize patient discomfort.
The scan range of up to 1800mm makes it possible to cover multiple regions in a single scan setup, ideal for emergency patients. Additionally, lateral movement is possible to center the scan target without patient discomfort.
- Noise Reduction Design Based On Fluid Analysis
As a preventive measure against vibration, drive noise, and noise from air turbulence occurring during gantry rotation due to high scanning speeds, advanced fluid analysis has been employed in the design of the gantry.
The new gantry design reduces vibration caused by high-speed rotation, minimizing noise and improving patient comfort.
